When Christ gave up His Life on the Cross, all mankind were in Him.
When Christ walked out of the tomb, all mankind were in Him.
The Cross put to death the old man, the sin nature, and its power over man, sealing the enemy’s defeat.
The Resurrection was Victory for all, awakened the New Man, the Divine nature, and the Law of Life and Love within man.
Seeing this Grace, and the fullness of its finished work, is exercising trust in Christ’s own faith to have accomplished both on our behalf, which is then falling into and growing in our own faith and belief.
If Belief is seeing this as True, then, the only authority sin, self and Satan have over mankind is that which mankind gives through unbelief. When we fail to see the finished work, and do not Live from union with Life and Love – we have no faith, and unbelief clouds the mind, deceives us as a veil over our eyes. We remain or become spiritually blind. In such, we resurrect that which God has put to death on our behalf. This is our torment. This is our “hell.”
Living from less than the completed work of Christ – in the Grace of His Incarnate, Resurrected, Transcendent, Divine Life – is to live by resurrection of another, lesser, counterfeit life – that of bondage to the power of sin, to our destructive flesh nature, and to all that is anti-Christ.
Love will always grant the power to be chosen, and to choose – Life or death. The Glory of this Love is that It still holds us in every way, even if we don’t choose It’s Life. We can resist or reject this Grace. We can run away and hide behind fig leaves. But Grace has never resisted or rejected us. We can go nowhere to get away from His Presence and Love.
We all have the power to “raise the dead.” By this I mean, to believe in and live from something (or, SomeOne) who was put to death. The question is, what are we raising, and therefore living from? Christ or self? New man or old? Life or death? Righteousness or sin? Only One was Divinely raised. The others can only be raised at our choosing. Recognize that this raising is a spiritual choosing in the mind – through belief, or unbelief.
What do we believe (which is to Be and to Live)? What Resurrection (resurrection) are we Living (living) from?
